Awentail offers simple and transparent pricing. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial on the Starter plan — no credit card required.

Free trial
Every new account gets 14 days free on the Starter plan with full access to all Starter features. No credit card required.
After the trial ends, you’ll need to subscribe to continue using the platform. Your assistants and data are preserved — just pick a plan and you’re back in action.
Upgrading your plan
- Go to Settings → Billing (or click Billing in the sidebar)
- Click Upgrade on the plan you want
- You’ll be redirected to a secure Stripe Checkout page
- Complete the payment
- Your new plan is active immediately
Managing your subscription
Click Manage subscription on the Billing page to open the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can:
- Update your payment method
- View invoices and receipts
- Change or cancel your plan
- Update billing details
Conversation quotas
Conversations are counted per calendar month and reset on the 1st. Each visitor message and each assistant response counts toward the conversation limit.
When you approach the limit:
- You’ll see a warning on the Dashboard
- When the limit is reached, the widget shows visitors a friendly “busy” message
- Upgrade your plan or wait for the monthly reset
Billing FAQ
When will I be charged? After your 14-day trial ends, subscriptions are billed monthly. All payment processing is handled by Stripe.
Can I cancel anytime? Yes. Cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
What happens if I downgrade? Your assistants and data remain intact. If you exceed the lower plan’s assistant limit, you won’t be able to create new assistants until you’re within the limit. Existing assistants will continue to work.
What happens when my trial expires? You’ll be prompted to subscribe. Your assistants and data are preserved, but all features are locked until you pick a plan.
Do you offer annual billing? Not currently. All plans are billed monthly.
